Class: Reptilia, Subclass: Anapsida, Order: Testudines, Family: Emydidae, Genus:  Trachemys Species:  T. scripta

Sighting:  Airlie Gardens, Wilmington, NC  3/17/12 9:45 am Fresh water lake Coastal region

Activity: Sunning in the morning.
