Red Cheeked Salamander (Plethodon jordani)

Class: Amphibia,  Order: Caudata Family: Plethodontae, Genus: Plethodon

Sighting:  High elevation of 5000 feet in a spruce fir forest.  7/27/12 9:00 am Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, TN

Activity: Hiding under a rock when I examined it for my naturalist class.
